Dineshkumar Singh is Group Leader, Digital Food Initiative (DFI), at Corporate Research and Innovation at Tata Consultancy Services.  He has close to three decades of experience in the area of technology research, especially application of digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) for sustainability and innovation in agriculture, fisheries, and livestock.

Prof. Alan O’Riordan is a Senior Research Fellow at the Tyndall National Institute.  He received his BSc in Analytical Chemistry in 1995 and a PhD in Chemistry (Nanotechnology) in 2005.  He has graduated 15 PhDs and 3 MSc. students and currently leads a team of 2 staff members, 6 post Docs, 7 PhD students focused on developing smart sensors and systems for Sustainable Agri-food and Environmental applications.  The Group is developing two complementary sensor technologies on silicon chip substrates that employ (i) nanoelectrochemistry and (ii) Surface enhanced Raman Spectroscopy detection mechanisms that providing highly sensitive, selective and reliable measurements. .  A key foundation of his research focus is to ensure its relevance and real-life deployment through collaborative co-development.  To this end he has competitively won multiple research projects worth circa ~€17M in total research funding to the PI. This has resulted in multiple invited and keynote talks  on Agri 4.0 at major conferences (IEEE ESTC and ECS-ICMS conferences), he leads the EU team’s contribution on Smart Sensor Systems for the IEEE International roadmap on Devices and Systems - More than Moore white paper.  He has published over 100 peer reviewed publications, one patent granted “Nanowire Electrode Sensor” EU & US (US 20140145709) and won the Enterprise Ireland Gold Medal for Most Innovative Technology Emerging from Third Level (National Ploughing Contest 2016/2022).  He is a Steering Committee member of the Royal Society of Chemistry – Electroanalytical Sensors and Systems Group and a core steering committee member of EPoSS SSI conferences 2021-2023

Lelitha Devi Vanajakshi is the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) Chair Professor in the Transportation Division, Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. She is also an Adjunct Professor at School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. She did her B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M.Tech in Transportation Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, India and obtained her Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA. She is a member of ITE, IEEE, ASCE, TRB, IRC, Institution of Civil Engineers India and TRG India. Her primary research interests are in the field of Traffic flow modelling, Traffic Operations and Management, and Intelligent Transportation Systems with an emphasis on Indian traffic conditions. Research projects she is currently working on includes Development of a bus priority system at signalised intersection using V2I communication, Departure Time Planner Using V2V and V2I Communication, Data Analysis and State Estimation using WiFi-based Traffic Sensor Technology, A connected Intermediate Public Transport Mobility-as-a-service (IPTMaaS) solution for the last mile connectivity and multi-modal integration problems of public transit, Advanced Techniques for Mobility and Congestion Analysis for Indian Cities.

Dipankar Bandyopadhyay is a B.Sc in Chemistry and B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Calcutta University. After completion of M.Tech from IIT Kanpur, he served ANSYS - Fluent for 3 years before completing PhD from IIT Kanpur. He is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Centre for Nanotechnology and Head of Jyoti and Bhupat Mehta School of Health Sciences and Technology, at IIT Guwahati. He is also a Director of the R&D unit AAHII – Assam Advanced Healthcare Innovation Institute. His research areas encompass Thin film Dynamics, Smart Materials, Droplet Microfluidics, Point-of-Cater-Testing Devices, Microrheology, CFD, Stability and Instability of Fluids, Complex Fluids, among others. He has authored ~150 research publications and filed 23 Indian and 9 international patents. He is also one of the PIs of multiple Centre for Excellences at IIT Guwahati sponsored by MeitY, ICMR, and BIRAC. He is a nominated member of American Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry, and Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Hamida HALLIL, Ing. PhD, is an Assoc. Prof. in electrical engineering at Bordeaux University, France, affiliated with IMS lab (CNRS, UMR 5218). Her research focuses on innovative device and sensor design using electromagnetic and acoustic transduction modes. With expertise in microtechnologies and chemical/biological detection mechanisms, she previously worked as Adjunct research scientist at School EEE NTU and CINTRA lab, Singapore. She has supervised numerous students and authored over 80 publications, 1 book, 3 book chapters, and holds 2 patents. As Chair of the publicity committee and IEEE Sensors Council member, she contributes significantly to the field's advancement.

Tapas Chakravarty is Principal Scientist in TCS Research. His major area of research is in the field of sensor design, RF/ Microwave components and modelling. Tapas began his professional career as Scientific Officer with ‘SAMEER’ – a microwave research laboratory of Govt. of India. Since 2007, he is with TCS Research. Tapas has nearly 34 years of professional experience with nearly 170 publications in various international journals & conferences, co-authored 1 book and holds around 160 patent grants. Recently he has received the prestigious Distinguished Scientist award from TCS Research. Tapas is a Senior Member of IEEE.

Dr Sangeeta Kale is a Professor in Physics and additionally works as Dean (Research) at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology. Her research lies in the domain of sensors using advanced materials in their nanoforms, composites or doped forms. Chemical-Biological hazardous moieties detections, sensors for healthcare diagnostics and low-high field sensing are her main focus areas. Optical interferometry, metamaterial-inspired resonance approach are few novel approaches used in her studies. Wit more than 140 peer-reviewed publication, 8 book chapters and 4 books, Dr Sangeeta has two biographical chapters published by Indian Academy of Sciences and Indian National Science Academy, for her work as a lady researcher in the domain of STEM education. 

Mitradip Bhattacharjee (Senior Member, IEEE) is an Assistant Professor with the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, India, where he is leading the i-Lab Research Group. Dr. Siddharth Tallur (B.Tech. EE IIT Bombay 2008; MS-Ph.D. ECE Cornell University 2013) is an Associate Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay and faculty-in-charge of Wadhwani Electronics Lab (WEL) at IIT Bombay. Prior to joining IIT Bombay, he worked at Analog Devices Inc. Wilmington MA, USA on MEMS sensor product and applications development. His current research interests include high resolution and low cost physical and biosensors, and high speed instrumentation and embedded systems for sensing applications, most notably for structural health monitoring.

Berengère Lebental received her Engineering and two MSc degrees (in Physics and Nanotechnology) from Ecole Polytechnique, France, in 2006 and 2007, then her Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from the Paris-Est University, France, in 2010. Since 2010, she is a researcher at Université Gustave Eiffel, France. Her research focuses on carbon nanotubes sensors for smart cities, ranging from nanosensor fabrication to IA-supported data processing. She has coordinated large collaborative research projects, such as Sense-City (https://sense-city.ifsttar.fr/) or LOTUS (https://www.lotus-india.eu/). She co-founded the French startup Altaroad (https://www.altaroad.com/en/), which provides traceability solutions for construction materials, and the Indian startup Hydroscope (https://hydroscope.in/), which develops smart solutions for water quality monitoring.

Dr. Sujay Kadam is an Assistant Professor at DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, India, specializing in robotics, control and instrumentation. His current research focuses on human motor learning, gait measurement and rehabilitation, robotics, control and autonomous vehicles, as well as IoT applications in the energy industry. He has a background in instrumentation engineering from his undergraduate and master's degrees. His doctoral work at IIT Gandhinagar focused on theoretical problems in control theory, particularly on the invertibility of systems and system inversion. Dr. Kadam's teaching interests encompass robotics, control theory, autonomous vehicles, probability and random processes, and numerical methods.

Prof. Ren C. Luo is an IEEE Fellow, received Dipl.-Ing and Dr.-Ing. in EE from TU Berlin, Germany. Currently, a Irving T. Ho Chair Professor at National Taiwan University. He was an Asst, Associate and Full Professor of North Carolina State U in USA. He has authored more than 550 papers on AI enhanced intelligent control and robotic systems, which published in refereed journals and conferences. He served as EiC of IEEE/ASME Transactions On Mechatronics (2003-2007) and EiC of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (2016-2022). He served as President of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (2000-2001). He received IEEE Eugene Mittelmann Outstanding Research Achievement Award, IEEE IROS Innovative Technologies Award ,ALCOA Company Outstanding Engineering Research Award,USA.

Sharmistha Bhadra is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McGill University, Canada. Her research program at McGill University leverages conventional design and development tools as well as solution processed flexible electronics technology to find cost effective and high performance innovative electronic technology. Her current research interests are in the area of solution processed and flexible hybrid electronics, sensors and wearables, biodegradable electronics and microelectronics. She has published over 90 papers and holds 4 patents in solution processed electronics, sensors and wearable areas.

Dr. Veda Sandeep Nagaraja is working at Tyndall National Institute, Ireland since Oct 2020. She has over 20 years of research, teaching, and management experience. Currently she has multiple roles in Tyndall along with teaching MEMS course at the University College Cork.

As Programme Manager: She is involved in customer interaction for EUROPRACTICE, ASCENT +  and INFRACHIP platforms. She is currently leading the €15M INFRACHIP EU programme.

As a Senior Scientist:  She is currently working on design, simulation, and modelling of

• RF resonators for 5G and 6G communication.
• MEMS acoustic sensors for Methane and Nitric oxide gas detection.

She is the Chair of Chapter Engagement Committee of the IEEE Sensors council and part of EA, WiSe committees of SC.

Prof. Navneet Gupta is a Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India. Prof. Gupta has research interests in the area of Modeling of Micro/Nano Electronic Devices, Flexible and Wearable Electronics, Computational Material Science and Electromagnetics. He has published 75 research papers in international journals of high repute. He has also presented 65+ papers in various conferences in India and abroad. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), Senior member of IEEE and life members of Semiconductor Society of India and Material Research Society of India (MRSI.

Jiro Hirokawa received the D.E. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan in 1994. He is currently a professor there. From 1994 to 1995, he was with the antenna group of Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. His current research interests include analyses, designs, and fabrication techniques of slotted waveguide array antennas, millimeter-wave, and Terahertz antennas, and beam-switching circuits. He received IEICE Best Paper Award in 2016 and 2018. He is a Fellow of IEEE and IEICE. He has been the AdCom Appointee from IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society for IEEE Sensors Council since 2022.

Dr. Raghvendra Kumar Chaudhary is an Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. He has published over 275 papers in leading journals and conferences. Dr. Chaudhary has guided 11 PhD students, and several PhD students are currently working under him. He is the recipient of the Young Scientist Platinum Jubilee Award (2021) of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), the Young Engineers Award (2020) of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), the Young Scientist Award (2020) of the IETE, and Young Engineers Award (2019) of the Institution of Engineers, India (IEI). Dr. Chaudhary is serving as the Associate Editor of three journals, namely IET MAP, IEEE Access, and MOTL Wiley.

Poornendu Chaturvedi is working as Scientist F in Solid State Physics Laboratory, DRDO, Delhi. He is engaged in development of Quantum Technologies, particularly in the domain of Quantum Sensing and Quantum Communication. Previously, as Centre Head, Centre for Advanced Semiconductor Technology (ASemiT), Delhi he has worked on exploring feasibility of development of Gallium Nitride Devices & Circuits beyond X- Band. Prior to that he was member of Nanotechnology Growth and worked on growth and applications of Carbon Nanotubes and Graphene.

Giorgos Fagas PhD MBA is Head of CMOS++ and EU Programmes at Tyndall National Institute, Ireland, and member of Tyndall’s Leadership Team. CMOS++ is a strategic programme addressing emerging materials, devices and architectures for next-generation information processing interfacing with CMOS and beyond. Giorgos leads the Quantum Electronic Devices Group. He is contributor to key international strategic R&I agendas and has initiated several large-scale projects. He currently leads the EU-funded programmes for open access to infrastructure for early-stage research on nanoelectronics and semiconductor chips, respectively, ASCENT+ and INFRACHIP, and the ICOS project activity on Technology Scanning and Foresight. Giorgos holds prominent positions in various policy and industry groups including Director of the SiNANO Institute and WG Leader in the Implementation Group of Ireland’s Quantum 2030 Strategy.

Prof. Jha’s work is on indigenization and materialization of versatile optical sensors by developing high resolution interferometers and their combinations based multi-parameter interrogation systems, flexible/wearable photonic systems, cavity resonator sensors, plasmon coupled configurations and nanoscale interaction platforms for quantum technologies. He is inventor of ten patents & has published more than 140 original research articles in SCI journals which has attracted more than 7500 citations with an H-Index of 45. He has delivered more than 60 invited and keynotes lectures at major conferences nationally and internationally.
